Donner Lake has an excellent place for fishing, boating and swimming. Located no more than 10 miles from Truckee, CA you can enjoy some of the most interesting history of the area including history of the Donner Party. There are tons of beaches and the camping sites contain fire pits, tables and RV hookup. It is a great place to go for a peaceful camping trip.
