Mount Rose Camp Grounds is located at the top of Mount Rose close to the rode. It is great for a pit stop when doing the Tahoe Rim Trail and has RV capabilities. The scenery is terrific and the site is secluded from the highway. Be careful when driving up during the wintertime though, weather conditions may make the trip dangerous, and camp site closed.
